Lisbon, Portugal
A beautiful country by the sea. Flying in provided an amazing view of all the orange roof tops. It reminds us a little of Italy and Mexico. Narrow cobblestone streets, warm and friendly people, small grocery stores and restaurants on every block.
London, England
We wanted to see the changing of the Kings Guard, so we braved the cool, wet weather and it was worth it. Notice the horse closest to us is looking at us. He was kind'a naughty and didn't want to stand in the rain either. He kept turning around, stomping his foot and just be uncooperative in general. I found it kind of funny as eveyone else was so stoiac.
More Family time
Family is so important to us and we love each one so very much. This is the FlewCrew family at lunch on Easter Sunday, just before we left for Europe.
Girlfriends... one is silver, the other is gold
Remember the song we learned as kids… make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other is gold. It couldn't more true of this community. This is our precious neighbor Ann and we love her!
PickleBall Champs
Keith and Jeff standing on the winners podium. They took bronze and we were so proud.
Grand Times with Grand Boys
A weekend with the grand newphews. The sun is out, it is windy and cool, and the water in the pool was very cold. But they all had to show their muscles and jump in. I've never seen boys get out faster than they jumped in. It was hilarious.
Teach them while they’re young
How do you create a legacy? Teach them while they are young!
Family Time
It is so important to stay close to family, especially the kids. These two boys are now 17 and 20. Caleb and Carter, where did the time go?
Our tribe of friends
It is so fun to have precious friends join us for a few days and to experience the beauty of Tucson and the dessert. We so enjoyed time with our dear friend Lisa.
Home on the range wildlife
Very rare to see a desert tortoise, but this one was strolling down the street trying to find his way back to the desert. We had to lift him over a wall, and he was so heavy, had to be 20+ pounds. He was amazing.
Deb’s Love Bags
Life with a purpose has drawn me to making gift bags. I have two sister-in-laws who donated several boxes of scraps from their quilt making days. Then Lisa decided she was going to make a quilter out of me, but I found this instead. I love the creativity and my new mission.
Time to head home
Buckle our seatbelts. It's time to head back to this beautiful place we call home.
