By land and by sea
We share a nomadic heart and love to travel in many different ways. We love being on the water and sharing our experiences with loved ones. Our home base is the Puget Sound and especially the San Juan Islands. It is where we relax, fish, hike, play games, and do whatever comes our way.
We love to travel the world, experiencing far off lands. We don’t want a resort, we want real life, to experience the culture, eat the food, experience the community and we often go to the little out of the way places to do just that.
We love to find and visit small towns in America, take the path less traveled, or find an isloated spot to stop, camp, and rest. We don’t want the fast freeways, but instead the backroads to traverse this great country. Our 5th wheel will continue to be our home away from home as we explore.
Wherever we go, we will have our kayaks, our golf clubs, our hiking boats, and our spirit of adventure. We hope some of you will be able to come along and join us.
2026 Update: We were finally ready to head to warmer weather. We sold our homes in Washington State and purchased a home just north of Tucson in Saddlebrooke, AZ. We just love it, but it is very hot in the summer months, so that is our que to travel. We spend some (or most) of the summers on the boat in the San Juan Islands but are also planning to travel more in the trailer.
In the season changing months (spring or fall) we travel abroad. In 2025, we spent 3 months in thirteen countries Europe. In 2026, we spent 6 weeks in Italy and Greece.
