Arriving in Milan

We arrived in Milan a few days ahead of the race so we could transition our bodies to the time change. It takes a few days before you get a full nights sleep and we didn't want to be tired at the races. We had a great AirBnB four blocks from the Centralia Station where we could easily get the trains, buses, and subways. Getting around is so easy here.

Our friends Billie and Craig came in a few days later and shared the apartment with us.

We took advantage of the down time and toured Duomo Square and the cathedral. There was a large gathering forming in the square early in the day, waiting to meet the drivers of Italy F1 cars. Hamilton and LeClerc weren't due to arrive until 5:00 pm so it was going to be a long wait sitting in the sun. We didn't join them.

Interesting note: Kimi Antonelli is the only driver who is actually from Italy!
