Regensburg, Germany
Time to journey to the boat for our seven day river cruise. It was several hours away, with a stop in Regensburg for a quick tour and some lunch.
This was our first introduction to the Danube as we crossed the bridge into Regensburg.
There are a number of legends about this community. This is two chickens on the bridge and you'll have to ask us about them.
Very cool buildings and architecture but it was a whirlwind stop. We toured a bit with a guide who I thought was very funny, Keith… not so much. We had some lunch with new friends Bill and Sherie and then back to the bus.
How well do you know your history. Keith found this number on the side of a building, indicating when it was built. Can you read this? The year was 1499…. the second number is an 8 cut in half… very interesting!
