Portofino, Italy

Portofino (Poor toe fee no) was on the opposite side of the bay from Sestri. This is where the very rich and famous live, so we took an evening trip over to check it out.

This is a large parking area for locals and when we arrived, it was very empty. The little city surrounds the bay with shops and restaurants. I would say quaint, but it was very decatent and expensive.

These were just a few of the mega yachts tied up on the dock. All boats are stern tied with an anchor or bouy in the front, so there was room for everyone. Even the larger ferry that came in and out with tourists and locals. It was a busy little bay.

We thought we were a bit out of our element until we found the Yacht Club - then we felt right at home.

We enjoyed a great meal on a floating dock in the harbor. We felt a little like the rich and famous, but only for a few minutes.

These two beautiful young ladies walked by and we realized this is more like what the rich and famous look like.

We were just finishing dinner when we heard this loud rumble of cars and realized, the Ferrari rally was concluding in Portofino. There were so many, they didn't all fit in the parking area and ended up lining the small street in the village. Keith was in heaven!

This was our last full fun day in Italy. The following day we traveled to Milan where we took a plane to the Czech Republic.
