Day 1 - Kea Island

The boat was in port early and ready to go, so we were able to leave Athens earlier than expected. Everyone was excited - after two years of planning, we were finally on the water. We hoped we could get farther than we did, but the wind was just too much. We found a great cove on the south side of Kea and called it a day.

George was the self-appointed cook and he was a great one. He loved to make greek food so this was a win for everyone. But our first night was a simple and easy dinner. We were all a bit tired and it was going to be a long trip the following day, so everyone headed to bed early. The billions of stars were so cool.
