More Family time

Our trip this year took us through California, as we wanted to visit family that we don't get to see as often when we have the trailer. We spent the day with April in Ron at Chinatown and the wharf in San Francisco. The water reminded us of summer, but that’s a couple of months away.

Then on to Modesto to visit the last patriarch of our family, Uncle Denny. He is one of my most favorite people and always has been. When I was very small, people often thought I was his daughter. And it was great to visit with my brother Rob. His wife wasn't feeling well and we missed seeing her.

Not pictured was sister time with Carol, Susie, and Laura.

Then it was on to Washington and Idaho. Here's some of my favorite little girls. Kailee is taking ballet lessons, and she will tell you it's not her favorite thing. She doesn't like stretching. She wants to sing.

And it was an early celebration of Mia's birthday. It's hard to believe how quickly these two girls are growing up. And yes, those are in-line skates with a matching helmet. It is what she wanted and mom said it was ok.

It was a family event to take Kailee to ballet and we were waiting for the class to start before we snuck out to have some adult time. A huge wind storm came in and there were sirens everywhere as trees were falling into power lines and making a mess. Josh is a firefighter in this community and he was watching all the activity from the sidelines. That is never fun.

Here's the FlewCrew family with Uncle Keithus. We love sharing our lives with them in the forest.

Keith's brother Chuck even came over for an all boys poker game. But first, get the gate to the chicken coop done so Rena doesn't have chickens living in her house anymore. And it was a success, they were all moved outside.

Last, but not least, a big surprise! When we landed at SeaTac, Dane, my favorite flight Captain met us at the plane and we enjoyed some very special time, just catching up.
